Wingshooting at Laguna Vista Laguna Vista is located on the East coast of Mexico at the convergence of three great North American Flyways. Surrounding grain fields, bay system and freshwater ponds draw waterfowl, whitewing dove and quail by the thousands.

Ideally situated on this incredible bay system, Laguna Vista offers you the best of the best. Duck and Goose blinds are only twenty minutes from the lodge and easily reached by van. The more remote areas of shooting or fishing can be reached by Laguna Vista's fleet of well-maintained vehicles and boats including; four-wheelers and marsh buggies, tunnel-drive boats, airboats, fishing boats and a luxury 24 ft. pontoon boat.

The thousands of acres of grain and sunflower fields surrounding Laguna Vista offer superb whitewing dove and quail shooting within minutes of the lodge.

Our guides are American and highly professional. They have all guided with us for years and are thouroughly familiar with the countryside. In addition, they are shooting instructors and trained in CPR and First Aid.

Laguna Vista Hunters Most of our facilities are handicapped accessible and all our guides are in constant two-way radio contact with the lodge. The safety of our guests is top priority.

If you feel like "wetting a line", limits of snook, redfish and speckled trout are routinely taken near the lodge. Fresh water black bass are caught directly in front of the lodge in Lake La Nacha.

Grand Hall Laguna Vista Lodge can accommodate 36 guests in spacious air conditioned rooms with double beds and private baths. The pool and patio overlook Lake La Nacha, perfect for enjoying a glass of wine and watching sunsets. Lush flowering tropical plants and pepper bushes adorn the grounds and tile walkways around the lodge.

The great room, which contains the dinning area and bar is warmed by a massive stone fireplace. The patio overlooks Lake La Nacha and serves as a trap shooting practice range. A state-of-the-art purification system insures an abundant supply of sparkling pure drinking water.

Laguna Vista Hunter Laguna Vista is an 8,000 acre working ranch, with an additional adjacent 37,000 acres leased for hunting, fishing, birding, horseback riding, hiking, eco tours or just boat riding on the ranch's 14 mile long Lake La Nacha. It is 16 miles east of San Fernando, Mexico or 100 air miles south of Brownsville, Texas.

There is a 5000 foot gravel landing strip on the ranch where fly-in guests can taxi right to the the Lodge. Guests flying in on commercial airlines will arrive at McAllen, Texas where they will be met and taken by van or air taxi directly to the ranch. Air taxi arrivals are greeted with Margaritas by the friendly staff. The ranch is an easy 2 hour drive from Browsville, Texas for the adventurous do-it-yourself tourist.

Laguna Vista Fishing It's massive size provides guests with an incredible sense of privacy. This region of Mexico is a major grain production area and the thousands of acres of grain fields, saltwater marshes and native scrub brush provide an abundant supply of food and cover for the more than 300 varieties of birds that live on the ranch.
