Lake LBJ Bass Fishing Report February 24, 2002

LARGEMOUTH are fair to good, depending on weather fronts, working Texas Red and white/char. Terminator spinnerbaits, pitching 3/16 oz. Terminator Finesse Jigs (www.terminatorlures.com) and watermelon/red 4″ SlidingWeight Craw Fish (www.slidingweight.com) in 6′-12′ of water along points and down breaklines of flats in Horseshoe Bay, Robin Hood, Big Sandy and Beaver Island. From all indications we anticipate another very good crappie spawn with fish in 1′-3′ of water later in March, or once the surface temp. reaches and stabilizes at 60 degrees.
