Been working the backs of the creeks. Been throwing a Berkley Red Shad Power worm. Been fishing it Texas Rig with a 3/16-bullet sinker. Been flipping up and around all the stick-ups. Been paying close attention to stick-ups by them selves, they seem to hold a few more fish. Been finding a lot of bait-fish in these areas. I’ve found great new spinner bait from S.O.B Lure Company. They make a great 3/8 and 5/8 single blade bait called a Magnum. Check out www. soblures.com and tell them Steve sent you, the action and vibration on this bait is great. I haven’t seen a spinner bait run true like this in a long time. I have been working this bait around lay downs and boat docks. Winkler Creek, Reka Creek, also down in Mesquite Creek. You will find boat docks down around Lakeview Bay, and County Branch. I’d like to thank the fine folks at Oak Cove Marina and my sponsors: Lamiglas Rods, Lunker City Lures, Berkley, Spiderwire, Spidercast and Minn-Kota, S.O.B Lures, Gambler/Bang lures and Ranger Boats.
