Choke Canyon Bass Fishing Report October 3, 2000

Lake level 24 ft. low and falling. Black bass fair to 7.6 lbs. on deep crankbaits with norman front runners. 1/2 oz. chrome jigging spoons also working. Fish are shallow early, then back off to ledges/dropoffs and suspend. Topwater bite good at daylight, but quickly disappears. Key on grassbeds next to deep water as usual.
