Choke Canyon Bass Fishing Report September 17, 2000

Main lake 23.2 ft. low and falling. Black bass good to 10.5 lbs. on watermelonseed flukes. PoP-R’s also working on heavy fish early mornings. Key on grassbeds next to deep water for best success. Almost all activity in main lake from calliham’s to the dam. Fish are super shallow and the recent cold front has really supercharged the topwater bite.
