I look forward giving reports in 200. Well I have to say this report will be going out all the diehard fishermen and fisherwomen. The key to success is a Good Ole Jig and Pig. The boat docks will be my first stop. The new docks in front of Clear View Marina are a pretty good bet. There is a good creek that runs between the new boat docks, and the flats that holds hydrilla. The key is with a 5/8oz Jig is to get to the bottom, but you will feel it bottom out that’s when you want to giggle it. It will drop that’s when you will get a strike. The Blue House has a boat dock and it’s on of the edge of the creek. The boat docks down around Lakeview Bay hold some pretty good fish. When your fishing this time of year, you really need to slow down your presentation if you feel your fishing to fast you probably are. You will want to use fish attractants as well, you need to help the bait as much as possible in these tough conditions. At this time of year the bite will be pretty slow but if you stay with it you will put some good fish in the boat. You will want to make sure you dress warm, you can never have to many clothes on, because as it warms you can always take off items. So until next time, I hope every one has a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year. I’d like to take the time to Thank the fine folks at Oak Cove Marina and my Sponsors :Lamiglas Rods, Lunker City Lures,Spiderwire,Spidercast Reels,Mnn- Kota,S.O.B Lures,Gambler/Bang and RangerBoats.
