With the early morning temp in the low to mid 30. Ran down the main lake fished Dog Leg Point. Fished the creek side of the cedar trees 17 to 24 ft of water. With this cold front coming in like it did it really turned these fish off. During the week the fishing was pretty good. Ran down to the cement plant and fished the lake just under the last bridge. It’s 6ft of water under the bridge, but once you get past it and over the old railroad tracks it will put you in the 20ft lake. You will see the warm water being dumped in from the cement plant. There is a lot of Hydrilla and Grass. Here we pitched a few worms and spinnerbaits, but it was very muddy. Went to Grape Creek and week to back and fished the back of the creek in the 20 ft water, that’s right 20ft once you past the road bed coming it the beginning of the creek its only about 5 to 10 ft but if you get all the way back on the left you will see the deep water. Worked a Zoom Red Shad right along the edge of the creek only one fish. There really wasn’t any hit to the bait it was really soft. We got off the lake the weather was getting worst and it wasn’t safe to be on the water. It made it a rough ride back to the marina. I would like to wish every one a safe and Happy Thanksgiving, until next week.
