Lake level: 172.1 and falling Surface Temp: upper 60s to lower 70s A number of patterns are working for Black Bass. For spawning bass fish the shallows in two to six foot of water with spinner baits, brush hogs, jigs, stick baits and finesse plastics (flukes and wacky worms). Post spawning bass are moving to deeper water. Concentrate on the points and bends in the creek channels running from the spawning flats to the deeper main lake areas with Texas or C.R. rigged soft plastics and crank baits. Good reports of White Bass and Yellow Bass being caught on the river proper north and south of the Logansport Bridge. Concentrate along the river sand bars and around the mouth of the sloughs with chrome traps, road runners, Rinky Dink tail spinners, spoons and live crawfish. White bass also being caught along main lake sand bars with 1/2 to 3/4 oz. Slab spoons.
