The lake is at 170.84 ft. High pool is 172 ft. Temperature is ranging is the mid 40s to low 50s. Not many anglers on the lake this past week and not many reports coming in. The lake is starting to clear up but there is still a lot of fresh water moving through the lake. Black Bass have moved into their typical winter pattern. Best pattern is to work ledges dropping off into deep water with slab spoons, Rinky Dink tail spinners, and jigs. Key is to fish slow. If you catch one, you should catch some more. In the afternoons when the water has warmed up, work the back of the creeks with spinner baits and traps along outside grass lines close to deep water. White Bass are making their annual migration up the river. Road Runners, lip-less crank baits in chrome and Rinky Dink tail spinners working best. Crappie have slowed with all the muddy water. Should pick up as water clears. Some catfish being caught on trot-lines with cut bait in deep water along river channel shelf.
