Press Release

09/01/06

Harrisonville, MO. — Tail Walker Lures LLC announces the first in a new line of SPIT FIRE Jigs that will be available in early spring of 2007. The new SF1 Series, a pro football weedless jig that has all the best components to attract and take on big bass, will be the first in our new line of jigs. Not following far behind will be the new Spit Fire swim jig, SF2 Series and the SF3 Series flipping jig in a wide variety of shad and crawdad natural colors .

We have went all out on the new Spit Fire jigs. “As a bass fisherman for over twenty five years, I have spent thousands of hours on lakes and streams observing crayfish and baitfish movement, behavior, and colors. With the heavy pressure in bass fishing today, our goal is to create a more natural bait“, says Jerry Schlueter owner of Tail Walker lures.

Our premium jig heads have a hard gloss finish to prevent chipping and will be available in ten fish catching colors. Sharp Gamakatsu 60 degree wide gap jig hooks are powder painted with a bass attracting blood red finish. This powder panting process will help the blood red hook color hold up in tough fishing conditions. A wide color selection of 3D soft molded eyes will be available and are strategically placed on the head of the jig to create a more natural look when swimming, working the bottom or fishing these jigs through cover .

The jig skirt patterns will be available in Nature’s Edge, Sil Chrome, Nature Scale and the Nature Scale plus barbed wire pattern . These skirts are made by BIO-FLEX and are the best silicon skirts available on the market today.
Some of the best bass fisherman in the Midwest, fishing the Heartland Tournament Trail, will have the first opportunity to fish the new Spit Fire jigs, starting October 28th on Lake of the Ozarks at the new Team Series opener
