trout good to excellant on gaswell flats up to 25in., redfish good when the wind picks up near unnecessary island.this past friday no wind picked up 6 good reds and 4 black drum with 10 trout free shrimping on the intercoastal near marker 49– this is early in the year for this type of fishing. Mangrove snapper up to 4# being caught at the jetties with large live shrimp and small finger mullet.Look for a real early season as the water is warming up faster than in years past.
