Lake Level: 167.5 ft, 4 1/2 ft below high pool and rising Clarity: Stained north, clear south Temp: Low 50s Black Bass- cold weather has dropped the surface water temperature into the low fifties pushing the bass into deep water. The bass are bunched up in 21 to 24 ft. of water. Spoons working best. White Bass – work the old river channel sand bars in 16 to 20 ft of water. Slab spoons and Rinky Dink tail spinners working best. Bite is better in the afternoon. Crappie- bite getting better every day as water temperature continues dropping. Early morning best time. 1/32 oz Jigs and Shiners working best fished over river channel brush tops in 12 to 20 ft of water.
