The north end continues to be muddy to stained but is gradually clearing. Falling water has backed most the shallow bass out to deeper water. The bass are holding tight to cover and the bite has been slow but some good stringers are coming in. Brush hogs, and large tubes in darker colors working best when flipped and pitched in heavy brush. Spinner baits with large Colorado blades also working when thrown in heavy cover. Plan on covering a lot of water. Further south the water is stained to clear and the bite has been more active. Spinner baits, wacky worms, flukes, jigs and soft plastics working in two to eight foot of water when fished in flooded brush and along outside grass lines.
