Awesome!!!! That is the only word to describe the fishing right now on Rayburn. The fish are shallow and biting. We caught fish on Swacky worms (Gambler wacky worm), flukes, and jerkbaits. The fish are piled up in the backs of the coves and pockets. If you have a good pair of polarized sunglasses you can see them everywhere sunning. Schools of bass just sitting next to bushes, 2 – 5 lbs fish with 7 and 8#ers cruising by. Get yourself some Gambler Swacky worms in Greenpumpkin and junebug and ease your way into the back of these pockets making long cast. There are also lots of fish being caught on Carolina rigs on the inside grass lines and middle of the pockets.
